Two Occupants Inside Residence, And One Bystander Taken To Hospital
(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) - Local street closed as a result of a residential fire.
On July 10, 2026, at approximately 9:15 am, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside local emergency services responded to a residential fire on Wilson Crescent within Elora.
While on scene, two occupants of the residence were evacuated, alongside a bystander who assisted in their evacuation. All three individuals were subsequently transported to local hospital as a precaution due to smoke inhalation.
As a result of the fire, Colborne Street is closed between Cuthbert Street and Wilson Crescent while emergency services are working on scene. Local traffic is asked to alternate routes.
