Three Charges Laid
(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - Impaired driver arrested, driver facing three charges.
On April 13, 2026, at approximately 1:00 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, which resulted in a traffic stop being conducted on Arthur Street West, within Harriston.
As a result of the investigation, Murray Noble, a 58-year-old of Harriston is charged under the Criminal Code, the Highway Traffic Act, and the Cannabis Control Act with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence
- Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on May 22, 2026.
