SUSPENDED DRIVER CAUGHT STUNT DRIVING THROUGH PUSLINCH
Four Charges Laid, Vehicle Impounded
(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Belwood driver is charged following a traffic stop in Puslinch.
On January 17, 2026, at approximately 9:00 pm, a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit was conducting proactive traffic enforcement on Wellington Road 36 in Puslinch, when they found a vehicle to be travelling at a high rate of speed.
As a result of the investigation, a 49-year-old from Belwood, is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Drive Motor vehicle - perform stunt - excessive speed
- Driving while under suspension
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence
- Speeding 1-49 Km/h over posted limit
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Provincial Offences Court in Guelph at a later date.
A 30 day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 14-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
