(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following a public intoxication investigation in Simcoe.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at approximately 3:13 am, a member of the Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed an individual who appeared to be intoxicated while walking on Norfolk Street South.
Following an interaction, the officer took the individual into custody without incident.
As a result, a 50-year-old Norfolk County resident has been charged with the following alleged offence:
- Being intoxicated in public place
