(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation conducted by the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at approximately 3:00 pm, members of the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU arrested an individual on Robinson Street in Simcoe in relation to a Norfolk County drug trafficking investigation.

Following the arrest, officers conducted a search and seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, Canadian currency, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

As a result, 29-year-old Christohper WASCH of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, - Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 - in Canada

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
