DRIVER CHARGED FOLLOWING COLLISION INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following an impaired driving investigation near Wilsonville.
The investigation determined that the vehicle was travelling along Indian Line when it left the roadway and struck an object on a residential property. No injuries were reported.
Officers attended the scene and located the driver. The individual was taken into custody without incident.
As a result, a 17-year-old resident of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
