YOUTH CHARGED FOLLOWING THREATS INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - A youth is facing charges following a recent threats investigation.
On Sunday, March 1, 2026, at approximately 9:23 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report involving threats at a location in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that an electronic exchange occurred among a group of individuals, during which one person made threats toward two others.
As a result, a 15-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - two counts
The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
