YOUTH CHARGED FOLLOWING NORFOLK COUNTY MISCHIEF INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - A youth has been charged in connection with a recent mischief investigation near Vittoria.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, at approximately 10:25 pm, members of the Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of mischief at a property on Charlotteville Road 5, just outside Vittoria.
The investigation determined that an interaction involving several individuals occurred on the property. During the incident, one individual damaged a vehicle as it attempted to leave the area.
As a result, a 17-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
