DRIVER CHARGED FOLLOWING PORT DOVER IMPAIRED DRIVING INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a recent impaired driving investigation in Port Dover.
Officers located the vehicle and initiated an investigation. As a result of the interaction with the driver, the individual was arrested without incident. During subsequent searches of the individual and vehicle, officers seized quantities of suspected cocaine and ecstasy.
43-year-old Lauren ARTHUR of Brant County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Possession of a Schedule I substance - cocaine, - Possession of a Schedule I substance - methylenedioxyamphetamine (ecstasy), - Have care of control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
