NORFOLK OPP INVESTIGATING SERIOUS ROLLOVER COLLISION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious collision that occurred near Courtland.
On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 7:19 pm, members of the Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Paramedic Services, and the Norfolk County Fire Department responded to a rollover involving a sedan on Bill Mill Side Road.
The investigation determined that the vehicle was travelling on Bell Mill Side Road when it left the roadway and entered a field.
The driver, a 48-year-old resident of Oxford County, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Bell Mill Side Road was closed between 3rd Concession Road and Goshen Road for several hours to allow for the investigation. The roadway has since reopened.
