CHARGE LAID FOLLOWING INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following a recent intimate partner violence investigation.
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 11:47 am, members of the Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at a Norfolk County address.
The investigation determined that an interaction took place between two individuals at the property, during which one individual assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 33-year-old Brant County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
