POLICE INVESTIGATING BREAK-AND-ENTER IN SIMCOE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for a recent break-and-enter in Simcoe.
On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at approximately 1:20 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a break-and-enter on Fourteenth Street West in Simcoe.
The investigation determined that sometime between 1:00 am on Monday, January 5, and 1:20 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, one or more unidentified individuals forcibly entered a secured area of the property and gained access to several storage containers and semi-trailers, stealing a quantity of copper and other miscellaneous items.
