One Person Charged
(NORFOLK, ON) - Members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Norfolk County.
On June 19, 2026, at approximately 12:50 am, Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the County of Norfolk.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old individual from Norfolk County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Mischief - Destroys or Damages Property, - Unlawfully in Dwelling House
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Norfolk County, on July 28th, 2026.
Norfolk County OPP would like to stipulate that an individual who is living in a matrimonial or common law home, does not have the right to destroy or damage shared property or property belonging to the other individual.
