(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following a recent intimate partner violence investigation in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that an interaction between two individuals inside the residence escalated, resulting in one person assaulting the other. Minor injuries were reported.
As a result, a 64-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Assault - spousal, - Assault cause bodily harm - choke, suffocate or strangle, - Forcible confinement
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
